things are happening at Pearl Street. If you are considering finding a church to be a part of we think you owe it to yourself to come check out our church.
At Pearl Street we have a "come as you are" philosophy. Meaning, you don't need to run out and buy special church clothes to attend. God doesn't care what you have on and neither do we. While most people including our Pastor dress casual, there are some who like to dress up and that’s okay too. It’s not about clothes! "Come as you are" also means that you don't need to try and “spiff up” your spiritual or religious life before you come either. God embraces each of us right were we are, just as we are, so we believe that's a good guideline for our church to follow also.
We understand the pressure many people feel when going into a new church or new environment. Because of that we promise not to do anything intentionally that would put you on the spot or embarrass you. Everyone needs a safe place to investigate and feel things out and we want to be that kind of a place for you.
You are welcome to observe, ask questions and participate to whatever degree you are comfortable. Please give us the opportunity to get acquainted with you and if there's anything we can do or any questions you may have, let us know. If you happen to be our guest some day and you do not experience what we have said, then we'd like to know. We'll see you soon!
