2. The Perfection of His Service

You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the= Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

3. The Perfection of His Sacrifice<= /o:p>

      Hebrews 9:14

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spi= rit offered Himself without blemish to God,

but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

Bread and wine

conclusion

It was in the absolute per= fection of His life, character and service that He offered Himself to the Father as= a sacrifice.

It was because of the perf= ection of that sacrifice being offered that the Father was well-pleased.

A portion of the meal offe= ring was burned, but not all of it.

This pictures that His lif= e was given and yet remains – He lives in perfect glorified humanity at the right hand of the Father.
