NASB (Update) Study Bible  New Testament Supplement  CD by Dr. Bob Utley

Some of the finest commentary there is on the New Testament plus his extensive notes on Hermeneutics
(Interpretation of the Scriptures) as taught in Bible college;  plus a Survey of the New Testament.  Approximate

A good Bible study translation or even better several translations will help. Our pastor recommends the following
translations:

1)       Holman Christian Standard Bible
2)       New American Standard Bible (Updated Edition)
3)       New King James Version
4)       New International Version

BOOKS  FOR  STUDY

Exhaustive study of the Old Testament is tougher.  One good resource is Keil & Delitszch Commentary Set.  10

Another less technical but solid Bible study resource is The Bible Exposition Commentary by Warren Wiersbe;  6
volumes;  $90 through CBD.

John MacArthur’s commentaries on the New Testament are also very good and can be bought individually
through CBD.
