Dan & Arla Dial's Ministry...
Current Ministry:
On April 15, 2004, Dan and Arla transferred to New Tribes Language Institute in the Lake of the Ozarks,
Missouri to work on the new School of Intercultural Studies Project (SISP). This project will integrate all of our
stateside Mission Training Institutes with our Language Institute by the end of 2006. Dan has the responsibility
of leading the SIS-Project team and would appreciate your prayers. Arla is working as Dan's secretary as he
leads the SIS Project team.

2005 A Year Full of Blessings!
Greetings friends and family,

Not only as our son Preston recovered from a brain tumor, surgery and radiation, he and Traci
gave birth to our beautiful granddaughter Emma Grace less than a year later!

We traveled to Minnesota to spend Thanksgiving with Arla's mom and family.  We are so thankful
that she is in a lovely Assisted Living apartment and is doing pretty good health wise.  Dan's
mother has adjusted to the loss of his dad and remains active with church and friends.

Health wise, Dan is usually very health, however he has need for  a hernia operation on January
10.  I guess it is a "hazard of the trade" in construction.  In the spring, Arla was sick for six-weeks
with a very nasty respiratory flu and is now fighting another upper respiratory infection.

Dan has the privilege of teaching a Jr. High boys Sunday school class and we both sing in Choir.
We just finished a very unusual Christmas program called "I'll be home for Christmas".  Its
theme was centered around the early 40's radio programs.

The expansion project here on the campus continues to progress.  This year, we saw 3 staff
duplexes and one student four-plex built.  Floors are being prepared for two additional
four-plex's.  Plans have been passed by the DNR for the new septic treatment plant and we are
now seeking avenues for installing it.  The trenches were dug and pipes  placed for the new
underground water heating/cooling system.  The mission continues to trust the Lord to provide
the finances for enough staff and student apartments to accommodate the huge influx of
students and staff coming in the fall of '06.  From this time forward, we will refer to our campus
as the "NTM Missionary Training Center".

Finally, and a major item, is that the leadership has asked us to consider trying to finish the
home we have been working on for the past four years, so we can move "off" campus and
commute in order to help make room for additional staff this fall.  It is only completed on the
outside as of now.  We will be trusting the Lord to provide for finishing the inside of the house by
the end of this coming summer.

We praise the Lord for the provision of his Son, Jesus Christ as a precious gift of redemption
and grace.  Thank you for the love you have shown to Him and us this past year.  May His peace,
which passes all understanding continue to keep your heart at rest as your trust in Him.

Blessings and Joy in Christ,
Dan an Arla
